Two simple questions

fullsizeoutput_b52.jpegI click on the Obama Foundation Fellowship application and two questions smack me in the face. I spend the next week thinking about them while riding my bike before I apply.

I know it’s a long-shot that I would be one of the ten people selected, but that doesn’t matter. I will ask myself those two questions when I look in the mirror every morning of my life from now on.

They are: What public problem do you want to solve? How will you solve it?

Does clarity about purpose in life get any more simple than that? Is there any reason why I can’t start working on what I said I would do on that application?

I also just devoured Richard Branson’s quick-read book, Screw It; Just Do It. And so, let’s get on with it. There’s work to be done.
