Biketober was great. My team, Trusting the Journey, came in 2nd in our pool, and more importantly, we had fun. Plus, 283 miles later, I feel a renewed connection to my fellow bike riders close to home and around the world.
Personally, I came in 108th in metro Atlanta and around 23rd out of women riders (and that was riding an average of 10 miles a day every single day in October). That means there are 22 women riding more than me in my metro area, and I think I know just one of them. I have many people yet to meet while Traveling at the Speed of Bike.
