I finally tried an electric scooter yesterday. I see the appeal, although I felt unsafe on it the whole time (completely unrelated to motor vehicle traffic, although that’s a definite additional issue). What would make it better (for me, at least) would be bigger wheels and a seat. Like, if it were a bike. Like this:
