During this Winter Solstice, this thin veil between worlds that invites us to reflect as we let more light into our lives, I’d like to remind you (and myself) that You Are Enough. Whatever your heart is calling you to do is what you are meant to do, even if that sometimes means doing nothing.
The photo above and video below were taken overlooking Donegal Bay one morning on a borrowed bike while volunteering on my final farm in Ireland during Round Ireland with a Duck, the upcoming sequel to Round America with a Duck. There’s a whole story in Round America with a Duck about that sweatshirt (and its message on the back, which reached many strangers during my journeys), and the subsequent tattoo (with three different words of meaning to me) that followed.
I’m tapping out from almost everything now to work on the new book for a few months. Go n-éiri leat (good luck to you), wherever the road takes you. May the wind be always at your back. Trust the journey.
