Patty Wiens, the Bicycle Mayor of Winnipeg, Canada (originally from Brazil), got sick and tired of women getting sidelined and silenced in city planning. So, in addition to her local advocacy work as part of a worldwide consortium with the Amsterdam-based social enterprise BYCS, she started a global podcast centering women — most, like her, who ride bikes.

Subscribe to That’s Her Problem wherever you get your podcasts so you don’t miss an episode. It’s sure to be quite the ride, and (knowing Patty) will most likely make cities everywhere better for women (which also means for everyone).
Thanks, Patty. That was fun. And fun — including joy as an act of resistance — matters now more than ever.
