The Agri-Tourist Podcast!

So Jen Ross and I got on a Zoom call and I swear we would never have gotten off if night hadn’t fallen and hunger hadn’t called!

This was the second time she interviewed me for her provocative podcast, The Agri-Tourist — the first was for Round America with a Duck (see that blog post, with link to the episode, here). This time, she focused not only on Round Ireland with a Duck, but also about WWOOFing in general, including bikes and boundaries.

What’s more, guess who just decided to leave for a WWOOF farmstay in Italy in mere days? Arrivederci, Jen! Now, I can’t wait to hear about her journey. We may even need to WWOOF together someday — she already joined me via her podcast while I was turning that potato field on the Inishowen Peninsula — she’s even mentioned in the book!

Our conversation ended up being about so much more than farms, as conversations inspired by a shared passion for digging into soil — and souls — tend to be. I think you will enjoy it. The video is below. Here’s the audio link if you just want to listen. You can also find it anywhere you get your podcasts.

Thanks, Jen. That was fun. And fun matters, now more than ever. In fact, it regenerates. Just like a good WWOOF farm.
