Most diverse square mile in USA

IMG_7720I get to spend two mornings a week for the next three months in Clarkston, Georgia — the most diverse square mile in the USA, with refugees resettled from something like 50 countries.

I’ve spent lots of time there before through involvements with community gardening, food rescue delivery, literacy, and bike skills. In fact, there’s a story in my book about what happened when I helped install lights on bikes there when the time changed in fall 2016 (right before the times changed).

I hope to find a new way to be helpful there again, perhaps even just by Traveling at the Speed of Bike (as I did yesterday) and bearing witness.
