Okay, here’s the team page for Biketober (Georgia Commute Options’ Atlanta Bike Challenge) for anyone in metro ATL who has been wanting a little incentive to ride a bit more (or even once during the month). Join our team, Trusting the Journey!
The team gets points every time you ride for just 10 minutes (however slowly you want). Separately, we get BIG points for when you encourage someone (!!!), plus also for total miles. Folks who are new riders are worth extra points, so you are actually extra valuable if you currently don’t ride at all! No bike? No problem! Try bikeshare in the metro Atlanta cities of Atlanta, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Roswell, Carrollton, and Smyrna.
Last year, muddling along like this, we came in FIRST in our pool and 16th in the entire metro area! Sign up this weekend at LoveToRide.Net on the Trusting the Journey team. There are prizes and stuff, but you’ll probably consider the riding the best prize of all. Oh, and don’t get hung up by that “commute to work” phrase. Here’s how I define it.
