This is the new and improved Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts, where my younger daughter attends Boston University and where I was Traveling at the Speed of Bike last week.
Bravo, Boston. Your new protected bike lanes are astounding (and sure beats the previous super-dangerous, unprotected, door-zoned bike lanes that were there before). It has been a thrill to watch them come to life these past two years. I hope they save lives for many years to come.
