Better, together

All photos in this collage above were taken the last two days in the metro-Atlanta suburb where I live as the call for change that respects basic civil and human rights sweeps the nation.

Someone said to me earlier this week, “What do they want?” as if there is a they anymore in this world-in-crisis. Let’s rephrase that, in regards to every single overlapping, intersectional issue we are facing. What do we want, as a community, as a country, as a world? What do we want to do with this moment in history?

As I cast my vote yesterday in the State of Georgia Primary, I believed, yet again, in our ability to be better, together.

Please don’t stop believing.

Please vote.
