Team Trust the Journey now enters the final week of the Atlanta Bike Challenge in a strong 8th place (out of about 300 teams in Metro Atlanta), behind teams named GA Tech’s GTRI’s Thighs, CDC Bike Freaks, Fauci Fan Club, Georgia Environmental Protection Division Team 1, Your Pace or Mine, CYCLE (Center for Your Communities that Are Livable and Excellent), and Team Purell. Go, team! Bring it home!
Reminder to everyone else: you can still qualify for a chance to win an Edison electric bike, gift cards, valuable bike accessories, and more by simply riding your bike for 10 minutes any day through the end of Biketober and logging the ride on LoveToRide.net.
If you’d also like to name me or someone else on Team Trust the Journey as your Encourager, we get points that may help us move up past one of these teams and, more importantly, know that we made a little bit of a difference in someone else’s life. A loop around your neighborhood or in your local park (if bike riding is allowed there) is great. If you’d like other ideas, I have a Baker’s Dozen for you.
At the end of the day (and the month of Biketober), of course, we may not be Olympians, but we’re all winners in our own way when we’re Traveling at the Speed of Bike.
