Got more old bike tubes from REI yesterday (which they recycle habitually, by the way). Am continuing to upcycle them (along with bike chain and brake pad parts) into handcrafted vegan-leather earrings (they are available selectively for $35 in barter sent to me as a local restaurant gift card, which I then donate). I have much more to say about them (and my “road testers” around the world) and the joy of this particular journey, but I mostly communicate through TikToks nowadays (follow the fun). So here goes:
