Wild BikeBloom News! Updated!

Sales on Etsy of BikeBloom upcycled bike tube earrings are now DONE. An art gallery named Wild Oats and Billy Goats in the ONLY certified Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Community in the State of Georgia, USA, has offered to represent me while I am traveling Round America with a Duck via bikes, buses, trains and WWOOFing on organic farms.

You can see them for yourself in-store at Wild Oats and Billy Goats in Downtown Decatur, as well as order them online, starting March 4, 2023 (march forth).

Stay tuned for update with link and more info — I drop off the signed contract and inventory next week. Here’s the TikTok from when I trotted in there to show them the products:

Each unique, surprising-light BikeBloom earring is individually hand-crafted and hand-painted on upcycled bike tubes (vegan leather!) and features additional bike hardware from bike chains and brake pads rescued from local bike co-ops. The ear wire is sterling silver and hypoallergenic.

Whatever the price ends up being (we’re deciding that next week), I can promise you it’s a steal. These things take hours to make, from reclaiming all the materials to cleaning them to actually creating the product.

Like most things, however, I know it’s not about the earrings. It’s about us, you and me, connecting and creating a better world. Go, us!

Follow me on TikTok for occasional #FreeArtFriday drops of BikeBloom earrings across the USA during my #RoundAmericaWithADuck journey. You may also enjoy rockin’ a BikeBloom mini-skirt or other fun bike/duck original-art products from my SpeedOfBike shop on Redbubble.com.

Additional styles are available for FREE (while supplies last — very few left!) when you donate $150USD to Global Spokes, which provides bikes, helmets, locks and lights to refugees-of-war in the most diverse square mile in the USA.

UPDATE February 21, 2023

I dropped off half my total inventory yesterday. It’s been a solid year of product-development prototypes, global road-testing, and final product creation. And here we are:
