Beautiful moments like these happen when you empower seniors to get back on bikes (in this case, trikes). Here is our latest Silver Spokes* student during her third weekly lesson, connecting with a young mom pushing a stroller on a public path. She also got to wave to a police officer while confidently following rules of the road, securely navigate multiple traffic situations by using bike handling and hazard avoidance skills learned in previous classes, and ride through her leafy neighborhood as part of a route she hopes to do often as she is planning on buying and using her own trike soon.
