It took four mornings before I mastered the art of undocking Boston’s Hubway bikeshare bike, finding and taking a dubiously safe but circuitous route to the Charles River Esplanade, enjoying a little ride, and returning to the bikeshare station in under 30 minutes. The whipping winds and pouring rain yesterday were not going to deter me from achieving this humble success after previous mixed results.
