After a year as a Bike Ambassador in the bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community of Decatur, GA, where I co-taught bike rodeos, an earn-a-bike course for youth-in-need, and our beloved seniors-on-trikes, I am moving on and am thus ready for the next opportunity to serve my metro-area or national bike community. As always, I’m trusting the journey.
But first, it’s time to go back (tomorrow!) — to Mineola, Long Island, where I intend to ride a bike for the first time in over 30 years to many of the places mentioned in the first chapter of my book, Traveling at the Speed of Bike, and perhaps tickle more of your memories alive as well. Stay tuned!
