This is Mansi

fullsizeoutput_11e4.jpegMeet Mansi. She was teaching herself to ride a bike when I came flying around a corner on a trail in my local public park as part of what turned out to be a 21-mile ride for me (during which I didn’t see one other woman on bike).

She told me she’d like to ride as easily as I did someday. I gave her my card and said to circle back with me after about a month of just riding and I would be happy to give her a free Basic Bike Skills class.

Only 25% of bike riders right now in the USA are women. There are huge economic, social, and environmental benefits to getting more women on bike regularly in our cities (see my book for more about this). I can help.

Note: My next scheduled “Pedal Power with Pattie” Basic Bike Skills Class for Women is May 18 in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. There is one spot left.

See here for links to buy my book, Traveling at the Speed of Bike, on Amazon in all global markets. I’m an indie author and your support is greatly appreciated. A portion of proceeds from the sale of all books is donated to help more women and girls ride bikes. Currently, that means funding my ability to do “Pedal Power with Pattie” Basic Bike Skills Classes for Women for free.
