I slipped out for a bike ride before my family woke up today (Mother’s Day!), and was 15 miles into my ride on a 91-degree-Fahrenheit day when I stopped to fill up my water bottle and met Today’s Nice Strangers, Al and Julia. They live in the neighborhood right next to the one where the public park where we met is and had been dreading their ride for reasons we all seem to share as bike riders here.
I hear ya’, Al and Julia. After I stopped using BikeNoodle* after ten months, I started throwing up at the top of my neighborhood before every ride. I’m not kidding. It has been better since I started using BikeNoodle again. In fact, I couldn’t have done my 19 local miles today without it. (Please note I usually ride in the City of Atlanta, where I do not need to use BikeNoodle at all. See Bonus Resources for four of my fave Atlanta routes.)
