This is Lerin. She was my student today. Lerin never learned how to ride a bike while growing up in New Orleans. She took a True Beginners class offered by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition a couple of years ago and has been pedaling around in parks ever since. She wants to grow her skills, however, so she can ride to the supermarket. So we worked on that. (Note: I always take these photos at the end of class, because just look at the pride on that face! People come off bikes feeling really empowered.)
