More fake

IMG_2537.JPGOh, for goodness, sake — am I the only person who is concerned about the increasing amount of fake (and potentially toxic) turf being installed literally everywhere? Dog parks, ball fields, public open spaces (which can no longer be called greenspaces), private rooftop patios (such as on the brand-new and largest Whole Foods in the southeastern United States, which, by the way, is a nightmare to get to via bike even though it’s smack int the middle of an “eco district” in hip Midtown Atlanta).

Here’s my backgrounder on this issue, if you’re interested. Although if reaction from others is any indication, I’m guessing you’re not.
