I’ve been working on my scooter article for like a month now*, with advice from the British environmental journalism mentor assigned to me through the program for which I was accepted at Ensia. I have just another week or two to go before I submit it. Whatever happens next, I have to say that this has been an extraordinary process and a rabbit-hole of seemingly-never-ending information about a fast-moving phenomenon.
I have communicated with so many people all over the country (and beyond), and I believe I have an angle in my story-to-come that may actually be helpful as this trend expands. We’ll see.
*while Traveling at the Speed of Bike, mostly, but with a few scooter road-tests.
