Announcing FREE Text-Based Remote Bike Class

Get more comfortable back on bike — and pedal-power yourself, your friends and family, and your community forward in just two minutes a day through this text-based series of fun, super-short tips and tricks. Stay tuned to sign up via Arist online soon.

This class is specifically targeted towards teen girls and women (who are underrepresented on bikes in our public spaces). You will get easy-to-use insight about choosing a bike, basic bike handling, hazard avoidance, rules of the road, choosing a route for your comfort and convenience, and more. Plus, we’ll end with an optional Zoom gathering to celebrate our success!

You go, girl. You got this.

I’m a League of American Bicyclists Cycling Instructor (#5384) and the author of Traveling at the Speed of Bike. In addition to these other bike education experiences, I developed a proprietary in-person class that I’ve been offering to women the past few years that condenses the League of American Bicyclists’ nine-hour Smart Cycling curriculum into just two hours. This new text-based class will give you the basics in an even faster, more accessible way. Your input will also help develop it for potential larger roll-out to reach more girls and women.
