Thank You, and Have fun! (UPDATED)

Thank you so much to those of you who have been taking the first bike class in the world delivered via text and sending such nice notes about your journeys! OMG, tears. I’ve also made lots of little edits to the class based on your valuable suggestions.

With the pilot almost done now, I received approval from the platform to offer it to unlimited users throughout the USA for free (the free account usually only allows 10 users at a time). So, your small moments of involvement could be helping so many others nationwide during this historic bike boom, and beyond (I’m also thinking of ways to offer adaptations of it to organizations such as World Bicycle Relief, CARE International, or even the Peace Corps while I wait to see if and when I will be leaving for Peace Corps Uganda). Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It matters. You matter.

For anyone who still wants to take the class, you can start at any time. It’s free, free, free. You get three tips and a bonus link every day, at the time you determine (and your cell number is secure — I don’t have access to it). Here’s the enrollment link. Here’s my little promo infographic about it. Have fun! (Photo above by my friend Caryn, from back when we could ride together — I miss you, Caryn, and all my other bike buddies!)

UPDATE: June 15, 2020

Thank you so much for your kind responses to “Pedal Power with Pattie,” the first bike skills class in the world delivered securely via text (at the time each day you determine, for a commitment of less than two minutes a day over three weeks).

Due to requests for it in a PDF format (see below), I’ve now created an exact replica of the phone version so you can “binge” on it in one fell swoop, if you want (or take your sweet time).

I continue to offer this class, now in three formats (in person as the pandemic allows, via text, and via this PDF) for simply one reason: To help more teen girls and women take their places in our public spaces while Traveling at the Speed of Bike.
