Keep an independent voice going

IMG_1143You can help keep an independent voice doing the hands-on heavy lifting to cover stories about our changing world. Here’s why I believe that matters:

I believe we need quality original content, not regurgitated media releases. All of the stories and photographs on this blog are my original work, all of which is rubber-hits-the-road-researched and carefully constructed. That is practically unheard of in the vast majority of the media world today.

I believe we need someone who asks the nagging questions about even the most trusted companies and councils, and who follows stories over time to report longitudinal impacts.

I believe we need discriminating coverage from people not too closely associated with even the best organizations so that there are no sacred cows.

I believe we need someone who can extrapolate meaning and connect the dots across disciplines to showcase close to home and around the world what’s happening and what you can do about it.

And I believe, at the end of the day, we value the people willing to do these things in our society.

Whether you’ve been enjoying this blog for a while or are fullsizeoutput_217ehere for your first visit (welcome!), your show of support by simply dropping a fiver in the ole’ tip jar every now and again (in the easy and secure click-to-tip in the footer section of this blog) and/or purchasing my book also enables me to help more women and girls ride bikes (see upcoming classes here).

Thank you. It matters. You matter.

Trust the journey,
