So, am leaning toward something like this (although, ouch, that back tire looks flat — I still need to work on it). Thinking of building out a section of my website to give state-by-state updates and resources on the rubber-hits-the-road reality for women who just want to ride their bikes to actually get places (thus saving money, improving health, boosting the economy, reducing air pollution, increasing mobility options through all ages and stages of life, and connecting more directly with community and opportunities), and how we can make safe-access-for-all happen faster. Plus I want to help 50 women over 50 years old (one per state) get back on bike through my free basic bike skills class. Maybe one a week, kicking off after I give my final local class in August*.
Enough already. We’re done waiting.
* Note: there is one opening left in July, and 2 in August — see here for link to sign up.
See here for links to buy my book, Traveling at the Speed of Bike, on Amazon in all global markets. I’m an indie author and your support is greatly appreciated. A portion of proceeds from the sale of all books is donated to help more women and girls ride bikes. Currently, that means funding my ability to do “Pedal Power with Pattie” Basic Bike Skills Classes for Women for free.
