If you are a fellow writer, you understand the overwhelming yet peaceful joy and gratitude you feel when you finally write these two words after facing the blank white page day after day after day (although, in this case, it was only 18 days):
I experienced that this week (yep, in the middle of the National Bike Summit), on the first draft of my new novel, Slow Duck Crossing.
And now, I march forth (as I like to do on March 4th each year — ouch re: last year’s post, not knowing we were a week away from lockdown).
The edits and the agent pitch package begin. Next deadline: March 15 to be ready to go to my advisors for the next set of edits, and then April 15 to prospective agents. Stay tuned!
