I’m featuring selections from my street photography album ( taken while Traveling at the Speed of Bike) that include American flags each day up until (and including) Election Day. Here’s the seventeenth. I took it in New York City. I was riding Citibike bikeshare.
These guys were promoting the Broadway revival of the musical On the Town. Broadway is, of course, decimated right now due to COVID-19. I am glad I have three other Broadway-related photos in my street photography albums.
Opening Night of Hamilton on Broadway:

A Today’s Nice Stranger, named Robert, whom I met at the Hamilton stage door (and yes, that is Bernadette Peters):

And then there’s the lady in the yellow dress from that Opening Night, but that’s a whole other story:

And, no, I never saw Hamilton live, but here’s another flag-related photo from my street photography album from Hamilton in Atlanta.

In separate Broadway news, Broadway World reviewed the premiere of a show that included a piece I wrote, named Big Jugs, at a theater in Los Angeles this past summer.
Additionally, I found this little video I recorded in 2015 while riding Citibike on Broadway:
